Looking at photos is fun playing. You only see part of reality. It can puzzle
you. You can learn from it, see details you were never aware of before. It
can change your view of the world around you. Looking at images, looking
in images, puzzle and dream. Have fun and learn bits and pieces.

The Citybirds of Jacintha overlook The Hague, Scheveningen and distant
cities. Where are they, what do they see? Have you been there?
In Dorine's "Haagse Spiegels" buildings of The Hague and Scheveningen
reflect in puddles, ponds and canals. Often only a small detail is visible. Do
you recognize the building?
Jacintha made a comic about the famous statue of the “Vissersvrouw” in
Scheveningen. The statue stepped of her pedestal and went traveling.
Jacintha worked for a long time on the Galapagos Islands. Go along with
her and the “Vissersvrouw” and discover remote beaches and fishing
villages.
With the Metamorphoses of the Pier Dorine mirrored the original image
first horizontally and then merged it with the original. Thus the Pier is
suddenly unrecognizable. Just dream away or start to guess. What part
of the Pier do you see? From whatever angle this picture was taken?
Below some CityBirds and The Hague Reflections. Make a bet, where or what is this?
